A New Chapter In the Mobility Of South India
This is not merely a launch of routes but a rewriting of the book on how travel would be undertaken in South India. The initial six routes include connecting Bengaluru to Chennai, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Madurai, and Belgaum. More than 200 new connections will be added in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Kerala. The scope is huge, as FlixBus can now connect 101 cities and 215 stops all over India. It provides an opportunity to make travel easier, faster, and a lot more comfortable for millions of passengers.
In the words of Surya Khurana, Managing Director of FlixBus India, this move is so important because: “The expansion into South India is the next step in our journey to revolutionise intercity travels after successful North India operations. We have received a great response from our customers and bus partners, reaffirming our belief in the power of our technology-driven model.”
Expansion does not stop at the number of routes that it opens but aims to open up a mighty online platform for regional bus operators through FlixBus. This company offers seamless travel for the passenger and the operator with the help of useful tools that are at the forefront of planning, controlling, and offering the highest revenue possible while keeping profitability intact. This again underlines the determination of FlixBus to work hand in glove with local operators, yet still adhere to a highly accredited standard of safety and quality.
Sustainable Travel for a Greener Future
The latest routes of FlixBus within South India are not only convenient but ecological. All the engines of the buses running the routes will be BS6, designed to reduce pollutants in the air and further reinforce the commitment of the company towards environmental sustainability. These are modern buses fitted with modern safety features such as ABS or anti-blocking braking system, ESC or electronic stability control, and 2-point seat belts to ensure comfort and safety for all the passengers.
FlixBus is offering a special opening offer to mark the launch in Bengaluru, where tickets on the new routes can be booked for just 99 INR!
