How’s The Service At “Go Native”?

The service at “Go Native” was efficient and pleasant. The server handed us the menu to their newest curated menu called the “Chef’s Table: Monsoon Edit”, to which we were delighted to see the new fusions of different places come together to form multiple new dishes. The server offered his helpful suggestions and walked us through the ingredients used in each of the dishes that were presented before us.

Delightful Food And A Beautiful Presentation!

Each dish had a unique taste, texture and colour to it and the presentation of each dish? Beautifully done!  Each dish was placed on a unique collection of plates which was collected over time by the marketing team of Go Native.
We started our meal by having their beverage named “Jamun Kala Khatta” which was a fruity drink which had a sweet and tangy taste to it and I must say it was refreshing! The second drink on the list was the “Chocolate Banana Smoothie” which was very creamy and smooth, and easy to drink!

Next, We Were Presented With The Soups On Their Menu:

Raw Mango and Spinach soup” which was incredibly creamy and had a hint of tanginess from the pureed raw mango. Then came the, Drumstick Rasam soup”, which was comfortable to eat and had the ideal blend of sour and spicy.

The “Avocado Quinoa Salad” came next. Normally, I wouldn’t be particularly interested in the mention of salads. But let me tell you, this salad was worth trying!! This salad’s look and flavour was excellent. The Avocado had a sweet and tangy sauce mixed with it, which was very flavourful and light that just  melted right in your mouth.

From The “Chef’s Table: Monsoon Edit” Small Plates, We Tried:

Paneer Varki Karanji” which was a crispy fried pocket that was stuffed with the filling of spiced paneer, which had an aftertaste of Aachar.

Then Came The:

Lotus Stem Purple Dim Sum” had a very soft and chewy exterior and was met with the crunchy, spiced lotus filling in it.

Fatayer” was next. The Flatbread was beautifully baked to perfection with a cheesy filling in it. We ordered the “Pesto Fatayer” and the “Oyster Mushroom Fatayer”. The bread was soft and bouncy and was topped with Pesto and Oyster Mushroom which was nicely spiced.

From The Large Plates, We Tried The:

Crispy Shimeji mushrooms with Thai curry” which was topped with a batter of fried mushrooms cooked to perfection which was placed on the Thai curry and steamed white rice.

Wheat noodles with Edamame” which was noodles sauteed in sauce and stirred with fried vegetables and edamame.

And after a meal, there’s always space for dessert! So we tried the “Opera cake” which was delicious and very light and chocolatey! And the “Banoffee Chocolate Pie” had the subtle taste of coffee. The pie had a mixture of Bananas and chocolate filling in it. Yum!
