Churning out this most loved dessert by millions, ice cream comes in thousands of flavors and variants. While most of us are okay with a regular scoop, others indulge in the most expensive ice creams in the world. Let’s venture into the frozen world of indulgences.

Most Expensive Ice Creams:

Byakuya: A Japanese Masterpiece

ice creams

From Japan, the Byakuya boasts of the Guinness World Record as being the world’s most expensive ice cream. It is created by Cellato and a gelato that does everything from white truffles to Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and even sake lees. One 122g scoop will set you back an eye-watering $6,696.

Strawberries Arnaud:

Yet another claimant to the world’s costliest ice cream is Strawberries Arnaud, an invention of the New Orleans-based Arnaud’s Restaurant. This is a lavish dessert that has an overall price tag of $9.85 million.

Frrrozen Haute Chocolate:

For chocolate addicts, the most indulgent dessert would have to be Serendipity 3’s Frozen Haute Chocolate in New York City, made from 28-year-old cocoa beans and finished off with a helping of gold leaf. The damage to this ice cream is a cool $25,000.

Caviar Ice Cream:

This weird dessert, just as one might imagine from the name, folds caviar into the ice cream base.

Gold Leaf Ice Cream:

Many of the ice cream parlors offer drizzling edible leaves of gold to give a touch of luxury in the ice cream.

Black Diamond Ice Cream:

This ice cream is often flavored with products that support their price-tag value, like saffron, vanilla, and leaf gold.

For most of us, tasting them shall remain a dream, but looking at this rare world of expensive ice cream is quite interesting in itself.
