Thalapathy Vijay’s “Leo: Bloody Sweet” achieved a phenomenal day 1 collection of over Rs 148 crore globally but saw a 40-45% drop on day 2, only to rebound with a 20% increase on day 3, reaching a total India collection of Rs 140 crore. The film couldn’t surpass Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” in India’s day 1, day 2, and day 3 collections. Trade experts believe that releasing the film in national chain multiplexes would have significantly boosted its collection.
