Vicky Kaushal, during the trailer launch of ‘Sam Bahadur’, joked about calling his wife Katrina Kaif for a pep talk before every shot. However, he later clarified that wearing the uniform on set made him realize the seriousness and responsibility of the role. He mentioned that the ultimate validation comes when the Army approves the film, as it did with ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’.
