The Delhi Police has registered an FIR against unidentified individuals following the circulation of a deepfake video featuring actress Rashmika Mandanna. The FIR was filed under forgery and reputation-harming sections of the Indian Penal Code, as well as sections of the Information Technology Act. The Delhi Commission for Women has also issued a notice to the police, requesting action.
