India’s first LGBTI job fair RISE (Reimagining Inclusion for Social Equity) held at The Lalit Ashok, Bangalore on 12th July 2019, aimed at a ‘future where nothing matters, except talent’ by Pride Circle. The job fair included a conference with over 40 speakers and talks on the topics, the ultimate brain spa and a journey into the future in the company of those creating it.
The event was hosted by Maya The Drag Queen. The event saw speakers including Selisse Berry (Founder & Former CEO of Out & Equal Workplace Advocates), Devdutt Pattanaik (writer – relevance of mythology in modern times), Dr. J Harrison (Harbinger of Change) and more.
The exclusive LGBTI Market Place acted as a platform to showcase 20 LGBTI owned business and to spotlight LGBTI owned small and medium businesses. The LGBTI Talent Pool provided the opportunity for inclusive companies to hire from 350 pre-screened candidates.
