The Kingfisher Ultra Derby weekend kicked off on Friday with the post-position draw. The coveted race trophy was handed over by Sandalwood actress Aindrita Ray and Gurpreet Singh, Divisional Vice President, Marketing United Breweries LTD to Hari Mohan Naidu, Chairman Bangalore Turf Club (BTC)).

The ‘well connected’ ridden by Foreign Jockey David Allan won the Kingfisher Ultra Derby Bangalore and the winners owned M Rishad, PJ Vazifdar and Poonawalla Racing and Breeding Pvt Ltd rep by Behroze Z Poonawalla, Yohan Z Poonawalla and Michelle Y Poonawalla and trained by S Padmanabhan.
