Encrustd: Make-On-Order Approach

Bringing the contemporary retail approach of Make-On-Order, the customer views styles in the store, establishes sizing and then places an order, which is executed and shipped in 4-5 business days.

Customers get to select the fabric and embellishment technique from samples on display and when these are placed on the Envision system, it displays all the styles using that fabric and embellishment. This concept has been working well as it allows the customer to view and choose from nearly 450 styles even though only a fraction of that is on display.

Launching the newest collection, MOONDANCE in a trendy hot spot salon, Blown, the event was conceptualised to celebrate the new moon. A music band from Mumbai, the Django Twins sang numbers including the collection track, Moondance by Van Morrison with Big Banyan Wines as wine sponsors. The guests were spotted interacting with each other and were assisted by stylists on what styles would suit them best. The models were styled by Studio 54.

Moondance is a collection of styles in colours of the Fall Autumn 2019 palette. The styles draw on classic international trends and are crafted using heritage skills in luxurious fabrics. What makes this collection distinct is the timelessness and uniqueness of these passionately designed and conceived styles. Silks and pashminas used are of the finest quality and lined in silk that feels great against the skin. Drawing inspiration from ancient wisdom of Chakras and enigmatic symbols and representations, the styles are flattering in fit.
