Bengaluru witnessed the celebration of art at the launch of Art@1 held as part of the first anniversary of JW Marriott Hotel with the Asian Art House. The ‘Art Indulgence Weekend’ opened with ‘BON VOYAGE’, an extraordinary photography exhibit featuring artworks from Shaun Heffernan showcasing his specially curated collection entitled ‘Legends’ – a selection of legendary people who have coloured Shaun’s life and Vijit Pillai’s ‘European Journeys’ – an interpretation of a timeless journey through European history, iconic structures and people followed by a beautiful photography exhibit from Reuben Kataria and Porus Kharghat.

The passionate photographer Reuben unraveled the Mysteries of Egypt with each click as seen through his lens and Porus Khareghat, who showed the people that there is beauty, colour, and peace even in hard and arid conditions through his vivid captures. He presented ‘Shades of Ladakh’ is his tribute to the coldest, highest mountain desert in the world. The Melange of Art and Photography took the viewers through an amazing journey of showcasing places and people created by the artists.
