On the occasion of Major Bhupender Singh’s 72nd birthday, Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur paid a heartfelt homage to her late father by inaugurating a war memorial in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. On January 23, 1994, terrorists killed Major Singh, a brave Indian Army officer, while he was stationed in Jammu and Kashmir. Major Singh and twelve other soldiers who gave their lives while performing their duties are honoured at the memorial, which includes a bronze bust of him.
