Sharat Saxena revealed that it was Aamir Khan who suggested his name for the role in ‘Ghulam’ as he felt the actor would be suitable for a boxer’s role. Despite receiving praise for his performance, Saxena did not get much work after the film due to the industry shutdown caused by Gulshan Kumar’s death.
