The singles: On My Way | Amaraya
A little more than a year ago the duo released the first song from the album which talks about the journey home. They did not know then what lay ahead and the fact that in a very short time we will all have a new perspective of home.
The first single On My Way which was released in November 2019, was hailed as a traveler’s anthem and was lapped up by music aficionados across the world. The song featured lyrics in English, Hebrew, and Urdu/Hindi.
The second single Amaraya (March 31st, 2021 release), takes the story of the journey — that began with On My Way — a step further. The stirring number that spans across 3-4 languages (Arabic, Hindi/Urdu and Hebrew) talks about rising above differences in recognition of the sentiment that we are all but reflections of each other.
Amaraya was written and composed together by Lucky Ali , Eliezer Botzer , Ori Avni and Uzair Abdul Aleem .
The genesis of the track and the beginning of the recording process began in Lucky’s farm in Bangalore. Almost three to four years in the making, Lemalla was a result of creative and meaningful time that the two artists spent together, journeying through different parts of India and Israel.

There are many layers to the artist who is not just a living legend of Indian Music but an artist whose appeal extends far beyond number of releases, generations and time.
Ali’s wanderlust has led him to many places and to practice different vocations. And while he’s a balladeer with many stories, he’s also his own man, who steps back into the public domain only when he has something to say, be it a heartfelt commentary on sociological/philanthropic matters or his expression through music.
Lucky Ali was born in Bombay (Mumbai) on September 19, in 1958 as Maqsood Mehmood Ali, as the son of the legendary Indian Film Actor and Comedian Mehmood Ali.
Lucky did not start singing until his mid-30s, and his signature husky tone of voice, that today has millions of dedicated fans, was rejected by many record labels.
When his debut album Sunoh was eventually released in 1996, it went on to win him many accolades, including Best Pop Male Vocalist in the 1996 Screen Awards, and the Channel V Viewer’s Choice Award (1997), and made him one of the popular names on the Indian pop scene. It stayed on the MTV Asia Charts for 60 weeks, and the rest as he says is history embossed in gold.
Beyond his spectacular popular success, Lucky remains one the most intriguing musicians in India as a result of the brave artistic choices he has made. What matters to him is the truth of expression. His songs speak of freedom, loneliness, purposelessness, wandering, searching and of our Creator and the creation.

Botzer is a troubadour, the kind who lives what he writes and writes what he lives. His wanderings in time and space transform into songs, and once finished and sent out to the world, these songs beckon him to new voyages.
Though writing, composing songs and singing prayers have accompanied him from childhood, it is symbolic (and for Botzer very aptly) that he did not find music, rather it was music that discovered him. It became the centre of his life in his thirties, after more than a decade spent dedicated to a variety of social causes in India and Israel.
Botzer’s music was received with rich praise by the media, and was embraced by the popular radio stations in Israel. They were intrigued by his artistic courage, directness, and originality. His songs are endowed with uncompromising honesty, personal revelation and social commentary.
