Anubhav Sinha, initially an engineer, ventured into filmmaking, relocating to Mumbai to pursue his directorial dreams. Starting as an assistant director on television, he gradually gained independence, making his mark as a director in 1994 with his own TV show. His debut film, ‘Tum Bin,’ emerged as a hit in 2001, launching his notable career. Despite challenges, Sinha explored diverse genres, directing films like ‘Dus’ and ‘Ra.One.’ Reflecting on ‘Tum Bin’s’ pre-release reception, he stressed the director’s role in navigating feedback and trusting instincts over data. Sinha critiqued the industry’s shift towards prioritizing money and algorithms, lamenting the constriction of directors’ creative freedom. Recalling his early days, he appreciated support from independent producers like Bhushan Kumar, who green-lit his debut film after a brief conversation. Sinha advocated for a return to fostering artistic creativity and trust in directors’ visions, highlighting the evolving landscape of filmmaking. Entertainment News, Celebrity News, Latest Movie News, Breaking News | Entertainment – Times of India
