Bangalore Fashion Week Day4
The last day of Bangalore Fashion Week 2019 saw a vivid collection of the designers. As we come to an end of the fashion show this season, the designers put out there best foot forward.
Day 4 was kick-started by Devi Muttukumar’s collection which was called Irravikkai meaning women’s wear in Tamil. We got to watch her ethnic wear which had gold and silver embellishments.
This was followed by Swetha BS. The name Parmpare means Heritage which is entirely based on the traditional motifs with the modern contemporary mixed look. Her inspiration was from beautiful places from Karnataka.
The center stage was then taken over by Tanishka Upadhyay. She put out three different collections of the western casual, saree and gowns, which had the perfect blend of ready-made clothing as well as evening wear.
The Trunk by Krithika PB was one of the highlights of the evening. The young designer had her inspiration from Greek goddesses Athena- the goddess of war, represented through tough structures and surfaces.
The grand finale was by Narendra Kumar his concept of sustainable fashion was commendable. He was a true star of the night with his beautiful concept and ideology. His garments were made out of PET bottle which was a great start to sustainable fashion in India. His concept of comfort clothing leisurewear is the talk of the town.
This marked an end to this season of the Bangalore Fashion Week’s 2019 tenth edition.
