Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed that Shahid Kapoor played a crucial role in convincing her to take on the film ‘Jab We Met’. At the time, Kareena was without work for about a year and a half and was being selective with projects. Fate intervened when director Imtiaz Ali approached Shahid with the script, and Shahid encouraged Kareena to consider the role.
