National Award-winning singer Bhavatharini, daughter of legendary musician Ilaiyaraaja, passed away at 47 after battling cancer in Sri Lanka. Her mortal remains were brought to Chennai, with actors Karthi and Vishal Krishna paying their respects. Bhavatharini’s significant contributions to Tamil music and her venture into music composition are remembered.
