Although the plots and stunts in the Fast and Furious films have become more extreme over the years, the franchise is still going strong more than two decades after the first film was released thanks to the popularity of Dominic Toretto and his crew.
After 2021’s release of Fast 9, fans are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Fast and Furious 10, or Fast X.
The release date, cast, and other details for the first of the two-part finale that will wrap up the Fast Saga have all been detailed here.
In Fast X, what can we anticipate?
It’s tough to guess at this point what Fast X’s plot will entail. It is intended that the final two films will present a connected story, albeit it is currently unknown what that story will centre on. Jason Momoa, whose character name has not been revealed, appears to be seeking vengeance after Dom and Brian took his future (in the form of cash) and his family’s lives in Fast Five.
Date of release for Fast X, Fast and Furious 10?
The new date has been announced as May 19, 2023
On 20 April 2022, Vin Diesel (Dominic Toretto) announced on Instagram that filming had begun, and he also confirmed the film’s title. Director Justin Lin walked off the set after only a week. A week after Lin announced his departure as director, a replacement was named, and the release date of 19 May 2023 has not been impacted.
Is there a preview for Fast X?
Two trailers exist at the moment. You may view both of them down here. The second came out on April 19, 2023, a full month before Fast X.
Who among the Fast X cast can we anticipate seeing again in Fast 10?
We can’t have the Fast and the Furious series end without the main characters, can we? Sure, Gisele and others like her aren’t there anymore, but it hasn’t stopped the Fast Saga from reviving their roles in the past. Yes, it is you, Han, that we are referring to.
Given Paul Walker’s untimely death in November 2013, it will be much more difficult to incorporate Brian O’Connor into the film, but the character still exists in the Saga, so he will undoubtedly be referenced at the very least. Plus, who knows what the directors could do with today’s technology to keep O’Connor’s character shining bright in this film?
Since none of the main characters were killed off in Fast 9, the following actors should be back for Fast X:
Role of Vin Diesel as Dom
Letty, played by Michelle Rodriguez
Roman (Tyrese Gibson) and Tej (Ludacris)
Sung Kang as Han Nathalie Emmanuel as Ramsey
Playing Mia is Jordana Brewster.
Charlize Theron has stated that she will be returning to the Fast Saga, so you can expect to see Cypher and Letty in the forthcoming trailers. Trailers suggest that both Jason Statham (Decker Shaw) and Helen Mirren (his mother, Magdalene ‘Queenie’ Shaw) will return.
It’s hardly unexpected to see Jakob Toretto (John Cena), Dom’s brother, in the trailer, especially since he was introduced in Fast 9 and seems to be on the good side rather than the baddie side for Fast X.
