Robert Downey Jr. has completed his run as Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige confirmed that Downey Jr. will not be returning as the superhero. Downey Jr.’s last appearance as Iron Man was in 2019’s ‘The Avengers: Endgame,’ where the character died. Feige stated that they will not undo that moment and have moved on emotionally from Downey Jr.’s departure.
