It’s already the 4th day of the LFW! It’s so hard to keep up with all the trends at this pace. Grab a drink while we take you through the 4th day of LFW and give you a glimpse of what’s going to be in style in the coming days.
1) Half Full Curve
‘Natsukashii’, Half Full Curve’s W/F’18 collection, is inspired by traditional Japanese textiles. Japanese style is very iconic, and their costumes are all about motifs and floral patterns. Half full curve transforms these into intricate, detailed embroidery. This shows the designer sisters, Rixi Bhatia and Tinka Bhatia’s keen eye for detail. Rixi follows the ‘art meets fashion’ ideology, and Tinka follows her instincts. The muse for their designs is a curvy women. #youaresomuchmorethananumber
2) Saaksha & Kinni
The designers at Lakmé Fashion Week paid homage to the woman reveling in Raas with bold colors, playful prints, original embroideries, and a whole lot of fun. This collection was vibrant and interesting to look at. They take inspiration from the past and create the present.
Shruti Hassan walked the ramp for Saaksha and Kinni’s collection in a beautiful flowy garment that will definitely make some noise.
3) Vineet Rahul
Vineet Rahul, a designer who is design sensitive, uses traditional aesthetics from all across India. He presented in the LFW W/F’18 collection bringing alive nature when it blooms and romances in the darkness of night through intricate motifs and details. The way he depict the phases of the moon and the flower blossom was really inspirational to us.

4) Anushree Reddy
A designer that completed her MBA and by chance joined a magazine company where she ended up finding her passion – fashion. Now, she’s become an icon for the youth and no wedding is complete without the bride wearing her lehenga for the sangeeth ceremony. Her collection, ‘Sitara’, for the LFW W/F’18 consists a fusion of romanticism and feminism. It showcases soft and sheer fabrics in a sensual color palette. Delicate hand-crafted applique and hand-dyed beads add to the fantasy and luxury of the collection.

5) Sonam and Paras Modi
SVA coutre, a label by Sonam and Paras Modi. SVA meaning ‘soul’ in Sanskrit is the labor of love. An ode to richness and glory, this season SVA by Sonam and Paras Modi creates tousled medley of fluidity and a glittering blend of motifs that are perfectly juxtaposed with a strong element of structure. Deep shades of burgundy, beige and blacks are brought into focus this season. This collection got everyone is awe, thus, receiving a great applause.
Nushrat Bharucha struted down the ramp for SVA couture.
6) Yogesh Chaudhary
Surendri by Yogesh Chaudhary’s W/F18 collection titled ‘Rangoli’ is a colourful ode to the women of the world. As the name rangoli suggests, it is an Indian tradition. The designer here again is trying to reach the global market by using Indian textiles. His collection spelled style at every turn and corner combined with aesthetic design elements to give you a sense of belonging to the ‘fun’ world of fashion.
7) Payal Singhal
Payal Singhal’s ‘The Show Stopping Bride’ collection presented by Lakmé Salon takes inspiration from the art of tapestry through the Renaissance period with Persian influences. Focusing on the blend of East meets West, the result is an amalgamation of thread-work with zardozi, applique and bead-work with gray embroidery accented with tassels and edging.
The to-be-mother, Neha Dhupia, and Angad Bedi bring their A-game to the runway for Payal Singhal’s W/F’18 collection presented by Lakmé Salon.
From 4:30pm to 5:00pm the show presented, a glimpse at the striking collections by @ruceru.kolkata, @label_etika, @sammohidesign and @sita_mikhail at Studio, presented by @6degreeplatform at Lakmé Fashion Week W/F18
8) Etika
6 Degree presented label Etika’s W/F18 Collection Blue City Tales’. 6 Degree is a brand management company that conceptualizes shoots and creates an image that is unique.
9) Ruceru
Inspired by Rabindranath Tagore’s timeless Bengali dance drama “Chitrangada”, Ruceru’s W/F’18 collection at 6 Degree Studio, ‘A proper women’ portrays femininity with an amalgamation of the idea of warrior princess.
Bipashu Basu walked the ramp in Ruceru’s stunning lehenga with a blouse design that is going to set a trend in the coming days.
10) Moksha & Hiral
6 Degree presented Sammohi by Moksha & Hiral’s W/F’18 Collection that focused more on light shades of pink and the whole collection was very subtle yet striking.
Diya Mirza walked the ramp in a stunning lehenga as a showstopper.
11) Sita Mikhail
Watch out for smart cuts, solid shades and delicate details in Sita Mikhail’s ‘Mirror Tells a Tale’ at Lakmé Fashion Week Studio, presented by 6 Degree. She filled the stage with awesomeness and fresh designs. It was a great collection that emphasized more on the work of garments. One of the garments was worn by Neha Sharma that took everyone’s breath away.
12) Kunal Rawal
Kunal Rawal’s W/F’18 collection draws inspiration from the idea of ‘Perspective’. It is visualized as a mirror of chaos that can have numerous unique points of views. The collection at Lakmé Fashion Week showcases an anti-trend approach and multi-functional designs.

13) Pankaj & Nidhi
Nokia 6.1 Plus inspires Pankaj & Nidhi’s W/F’18 collection which explores the coming together of the hand-made and the machine-made garments in the creation of exquisite couture. Kangana turns heads as she walks the ramp in a blue dress that has dreamy black work.

Tresemmé presented Ashish N Soni’s W/F’18 collection that is designed to tell a story through multiple approaches to bring alive the concept of Metamorphosis and explore the art of reversible clothing. Jacqueline walked the ramp as a showstopper and graced the event.
