This place is an institution of food in Bangalore. They recently celebrated 75 years of the restaurant. It’s one of the must visit places in Bangalore. In fact, it’s the first place you should eat if you haven’t already. Also, they have stacks of Dosa lined up which is a delight to watch. There have been so many stars and celebrities who have visited this place.

2. Davangere Benne Masala Dosa

Location: Mahaganapathi Nagar, 6th phase 1st stage, Mahaganapathi Nagar, Rajaji Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560079

“Benne”, the word means butter in Kannada this place gives you the delightful ghee experience. It’s not only the Thick Dosa with the crispy edge which makes the difference but the homemade butter which the cook puts at the end so generously.

3.  MTR (Mavalli Tiffin Rooms)

Location: Hansa Pratheek Building, Opp. Dr Rajkumar International Hotel, 5th Main Rd, 3rd Block, Gandhi Nagar, Bengaluru.

This is another food institution in Bangalore opened since 1924. Though their meals are the yummiest, their Dosas are to die for. MTR is the cheat hub for joggers and walkers with a bowl of ghee on top of the dosa.

4.  Hotel Janatha

Location:8th Cross Road, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru

Want to have a delightful meal in just under 50 rupees. The dosas, here, are quite thick than usual and the Sambar is most delightful. We highly recommend their sambar!!!

5.  CTR

Location: Siddavanahalli Krishna Sharma Road, Malleshwaram, Bengaluru

This is another iconic restaurant with a budget. It’s surely known for its simplicity and the quality of food. as we mentioned in earlier options there is a main ingredient or aspect of the dish what makes the dosa so good. Here, the simplicity of dosa is what we enjoy.
