The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced the shortlist of films for the Oscars 2024. India did not make it to the list of 15 international features. However, the documentary ‘To Kill A Tiger’ about the Jharkhand gangrape case is a strong contender in the Best Documentary category. The film sheds light on the heinous crime and the parents’ pursuit of justice.
