The team behind the film “Pippa” has responded to the controversy surrounding A R Rahman’s rendition of the poem “Karar oi louho kopat” by Kazi Nazrul Islam. They stated that their version was a sincere artistic interpretation, done with the necessary adaptation rights. The team expressed deep respect for the original composition and clarified that they followed the terms of the agreement. They apologized if their version hurt sentiments and acknowledged the emotional attachment people may have to the original.
