Ramzan being the holy festivals of Muslims symbolizes many things. It is a time to pray and improve moral character, practice self-restraint, and focus on positivity. This festival signifies fasting followed by sumptuous feast called Iftar. Around 1.6 billion people fast from dawn to dusk during this month. Iftar also known as Ftoor, is the evening meal with which Muslims end their fast every day and pray in the evening. Eid al-Fitr or the feast of breaking the fast or simply called Eid, marks the end of the festival of a month long fasting. It is celebrated in various forms in all across the world.

Many restaurants celebrate Ramzan through various way by offering Iftar Thalis, Iftar Biryanis and takeaways for the festival. Few restaurant like Anjappar, The feast India Co and The Soul Company celebrates Ramzan during this Pandemic by providing Home deliveries of mouthwatering delicacies. The recipes from The Soul Company represented the Konkani Muslims and the Recipes from Kashmir including the Morrel Pulav. The recipes were curated by Shabana the chef of Ameez Kitchen Mumbai and Azmat Sarposh restaurant from Bangalore. The main idea was to bring home the savories and delicacies to our homes. The Feast India Company, is an Awadhi style restaurant which offered recipes like Warqi Parathas which is made out of milk and saffron, Dum Gosh Biryani or Awadhi Biryani, Kubani Ka Meetha which include soaked Apricots served with saffron and ice creams and Sheekh Phool Masala which is the marinated Kebabs with rose petals that’s juicy and just melts in the mouth. Lastly the Restaurant Anjappar celebrated Ramzan by offering a variety of bucket biryanis including veg and non-veg. With kebabs and a huge variety of starters served with beverages in reasonable prices.
