Taamara Foundation brings to Bangalore Samyati, a performing arts festival, an ensemble of performing artists from varied ethnic backgrounds.

Samyati, a Performing Arts FestivalThe artists include Thomas Vo Van Tao, Mohiniyattam dancer, making a statement about male dancers being an equally legitimate section of the art form, MS Pramukh and Sreelekha Sriram, flautist and singer, a young blossoming flautist accompanied by an equally young promising singer, Yakshadegula and TDC, Yakshagana dancers and Mohiniyattam dancer, an institution popularising yakshagana with an institution propelling mohiniyattam, Keiko Okama, Mohinayattam dancer, who is covering a long way literally to indulge in her passion for Indian classical dance, Akshay Gandhi and Rohit Bhasi, a storyteller at heart with a visual artist, Aayana dance company, a high energy dance troup of contemporary dancers.

This event is presented by Taamara Foundation which is a non-governmental organisation. Its goal is to promote performing arts and help artists and technicians achieve economic independence. The foundation organises events and workshops to create a platform for them.

Where: Prabhath Auditorium, #1 Padmavati Arcade 5th main 1st R block NR Colony Basavanagudi, Bengaluru.
