Actor Lee Sun-kyun passed away after being questioned in an alleged drugs probe. He requested that his last appearance for questioning not be open to the press, but the police rejected this request. Lee appeared for questioning on October 28, November 4, and December 23, standing for press photos despite guidelines prohibiting such exposure. Prior to his death, Lee’s attorney conveyed his desire for subsequent appearances to be conducted in private.
