The culinary experience at Taj Dubai was nothing short of extraordinary, with each dish leaving an indelible mark on my taste buds. Crafted with finesse, Chef Ajay Singh and his exceptional team narrated a compelling story through each course, surpassing expectations at every turn.

Welcome Drink:

The welcome drink was a sensory masterpiece right from the first look. Presented with flair amid swirling smoke and botanical allure, the visually stunning concoction was as delightful to the eyes as it was to the palate. Infused with a tropical punch, this refreshing elixir became the perfect prelude to the gastronomic journey that followed, earning a perfect ten and setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience.

Mango Bouche

The journey continued with the amuse-bouche, a delightful prelude that encapsulated the team’s warm welcome and culinary prowess. A true amusement and amazement, the bite-sized marvel, bursting with the crackling flavour of mango, achieved an impeccable balance between sweet and savoury.

White Tomato Soup

The innovative white tomato soup resonated with comfort and joy, setting a new standard for taste. These miniature delights not only heightened our senses but also set the bar high, leaving us eagerly anticipating the culinary wonders that awaited.

Starters:

The starters just blew us over. The plating was an exquisite visual symphony, where each piece, from tandoori prawns to lehsuni murgh to lamb chops, was meticulously arranged as edible art. This hearty blend of melt-in-mouth kebabs captured the essence of the finest nawabi flavors, all served with the class and sophistication synonymous with Taj Dubai. A special mention goes to the gold chicken tikka, adorned with a luxurious 24-karat gold leaf, delivering sheer delight in every bite.

Main Course:

While the starters had our hearts and belly full, the main course was worth writing home about. A lavish spread of Shahi Paneer, Butter Chicken, Gold Daal Makhani, Martaban Meat, Tamarind Fish Curry served with assorted breads was definitely a meal fit for the king. Each dish showcased distinct flavours, with a standout feature being the perfectly balanced cooking—neither too spicy nor too heavy. The highlight of the course was definitely coconut curry prawns served befittingly in a coconut shell along with steamed rice, offering a delightful, easy, and delicious flavour that had us coming back for more.

The Dessert:

As they say, the best was yet to unfold, and the dessert platter’s dramatic presentation over a cloud of dry ice heightened our anticipation. The temptation was irresistible as we savoured every delightful bite of Gulab Jamun, Fruit Icicles, Matka Phirni, and Angoori Rasmalai. The showstopper, however, was the unmissable Lychee Rabri—a unique dessert that has the power to make you reconsider all others. It served as a flawless conclusion to an already phenomenal meal.

The Everything Ends At Treehouse:

To cap off our celebrated meal, we chose to savour a fine whisky at Treehouse, the rooftop bar. Nestled as an urban rooftop sanctuary with panoramic views of Dubai‘s downtown, it offers an ambiance of sophisticated tranquilly above the city’s vibrant energy. With its minimalistic elegance, Treehouse offers an elevated escape where modern design meets refined leisure. Immerse yourself in this rooftop haven, where an extensive menu of cocktails awaits, and the rhythmic beats create a perfect space to unwind after a bustling day
