Indian comedian Vir Das won the International Emmy Award for Comedy for his standup special ‘Vir Das: Landing’. He expressed his joy and gratitude, stating that this is not just a milestone for him but for Indian comedy as a whole. ‘Vir Das: Landing’ is his fourth comedy special, which explores the themes of being truly global and finding home. The special premiered on Netflix and was competing with shows from France, Argentina, and the UK.
