Festivals season is here and it’s time for some shopping. Here are a few Shopping hotspots in Bengaluru where you can pick up festive clothes and accessories without spending a fortune.

Although our city is not big on Street shopping, like the metros, there are quite a few vibrant markets, that stock a large variety of clothes and accessories at affordable prices.

Commercial Street

Commercial Street has everything ranging from clothes to accessories, home decor and antiques at affordable prices.

Start your shopping journey with Asiatic Arts and Crafts. It is the perfect place for some small knick-knacks. VR Plaza stocks some amazing readymade saree blouses. The Jeweller’s Street has a stunning collection of silver and fashion jewellery and Vashi’s House and Vicky’s has some cool western wear and denims.

Chickpet

The oldest commercial districts of Bangalore with a formidable history of 400 years, has some quality sarees, wholesale dress materials and gold and silver pieces of jewellery.
Head to Raj Market for jewellery shopping and try the nearby Balepet to pick up some beautiful bangles. If locally made musical instruments are on your shopping list, then try walking on the streets of Nagrathpet and you’re sure to find some treasures.

For great deals on electronics such as phones, cameras, tablets and music systems, you can visit the National Market.

The Hong Kong Market and Burma Bazaar are nearby where you can buy garments, perfumes and cosmetics at unbelievable  rates. Street shopping is fun as you get to try a whole range of flip-flops and sneakers.
