Waxing, Shaving, Threading, Lazer there are a lot of options and each one with its own Pros and Cons
Waxing
Do not let your hair grow too much when you are waxing. We all cannot resist the fact of a little hair growth after we wax, the urge of shaving (though there is nothing wrong in shaving), resisting it for some time does not leave that tiny hair behind in he next session of waxing. Also, avoid moisturizing right before your waxing appointment. In fact, we suggest you not to moisturize because waxing works best in dry skin.
Shaving
Shaving has more Myths than all the other methods. Darkening, Overgrowth, Darker hair are some of them but the truth is none of that will happen if you take extra care moisturize and also because our armpits are more sensitive make sure you shave in the same direction. Don’t shave when your skin is over-soaked and about to get wrinkly, as that can lead to cuts and an uneven shave.
Hair Removal Creams
Hair removal creams are the most chemical you will be using though it’s the easiest technique, it can have side effects. Skin Rashes, Irritation, Darker Skin but it’s always good to do a patch test before you apply it all over just like hair color. Even the most gentle hair removal cream can be reactive on your skin especially on sensitive areas.
Other tips you need to follow:
- After thread, shave or wax doesn’t forget to pamper your skin after thoroughly with a moisturizer.
- Don’t thread, wax if you are going through a laser treatment.
- Change your blades often, you must be thinking new blades will be risky because they can cause a lot of cuts, but on the other hand old blades can cause more irritation.
