The distribution head of Yash Raj Films (YRF), Rohan Malhotra, discussed why they chose to release the movie ‘Tiger 3’ on Diwali. According to him, they believed that going against the conventional release on Republic Day would benefit the film in the long run. He mentioned that the success of ‘Pathaan’ influenced their decision to release the film on a traditionally weak movie-going day. The film stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, and Emraan Hashmi.
