The Dark Marvel Comics character, Doctor Doom, who is well recognized as one of the most dangerous villains of Marvel Comics, has not yet been adapted on the big screen. Initially, Dr. Doom is one of those characters gifted with genius intelligence, mastery of the dark abilities, and an intricate ethical system; at the same time, he is a character that represents power and tragedy together. When selecting Downey for this part, Marvel wants to discuss the similarity between the hero and the villain – Stark is a technological mastermind, like Doom, albeit with magic.
