COACH introduces their Spring Summer 2020 collection in India

Starting the new decade off with an explosion of colour, optimism and raw energy, COACH, the International luxury brand’s latest collection is inspired by authentic self-expression in New York City. The collection features 78 different archive-inspired bags (one for all of the brand’s 78 years), in an ’80s colour palette. The SS’20 collection displays energetic pop illustrations of Richard Bernstein —the artist and illustrator known for his iconic Interview magazine cover which is playfully contrasted with Coach’s strong, straightforward leather-goods heritage.  It experiences a purposeful synthesis of stripped-back and upbeat. The SS’20 assortment draws a vivid, reimagined past, as dynamic as the city it’s made for. The women’s collection showcases a plethora of classic and chic accessories like lunchbox pouches, shoulder, tote and cross-body bags, sandals and city sole sneakers. It offers ready to wear contemporary designs like printed belted dresses, graphic sweatshirts and T-shirts, leather trench coats, pants, blousons, and skirts. The menswear edit features an amalgamation of suave and casual accessories like saddle and handle crossbody bags, colour -blocked bag packs, and printed belt bags. It additionally includes button-up shoes in vibrant colours and city sole colour block sneakers. The ready to wear designs range from leather raincoats, jackets, and pants along with graphic sweatshirts and tank T-shirts. The COACH SS’20 collection is available in all COACH stores. Fashion Cues to Take From New York Fashion Week Spring’19

Fashion Cues to Take From New York Fashion Week Spring’19 NYFW boasted of many prestigious brands that were lined up to present their collections for spring’19. The list consisted of Ralph Lauren, Coach, Micheal Kors, Oscar De La Renta, Marc Jacobs, etc. A humongous number of celebrities came along both on the runway and off it to celebrate fashion in good spirits. NYFW’ 16 gave us diverse options of what should rule our wardrobes this spring. From oversize ruffly tops/dresses in shocking colors teamed up with sleek belts like in Marc Jacobs’ presentation, to the no drama sleekly-tailored look in metallic linen pantsuits like what Gabriela Hearst had to offer for the upcoming spring. That was what we took out from NYFW this time.  The Rage of the 80’s & 90’s The runway threw a major flashback from those years of uber-chic and free-spirited sense of fashion with a modern twist. Labels like Ralph Lauren, Micheal Kors, Mara Hoffman, Escada presented their collections which were hugely inspired by the silhouettes and cuts of that era such as broadened shoulders and exaggerated puffy sleeves. The fresh take on them was the color story and the sense of layering of the pieces that were well complimented with a fresh set of accessories. Suit it up! Pantsuits were huge last season and the obsession clearly still continues with more sassier options to choose from. Take cues from the labels such as Pamella Rolland for pearl embellished piece, True to the season light floral printed elegant pantsuit from Badgley Mischka, The cropped suit version form a beharian label- Noor or the feathery detailed number by Christian Cowan. Recycled Denim juxtaposed with printed pieces This could be the next big thing this season! A tasteful combination of a printed fabric and a denim piece is what is needed to go big on this trend. Follow the footsteps from these brands-Vivienne Hu for scrapped – easy-going look, Recycled denim paneled look with doily patchwork by Gypsy Sport, Patched amalgamation denim pieces from Coach, Acid washed and tie & dye monochrome paneled look put together by Proenza Schouler. Ruffled Extravaganza Ruffles practically are never outdated, the type and style vary from season to season. This time they are back with a bang big as they ever were! Rodarte this season showcased their mastery at it. Christian Siriano went extra with embellishments and feathers, well nothing wrong if they look harmonious. Tory Burch put up romantic ensembles with sheer ruffles, which are very much wearable. Caroline Herrera went for off-shouldered ruffled oversize dress. Deconstructed Pieces This trend continues to ace the runway each season, including this season! The brands such as Vaquera, Oscar De La Renta, Prabal Gurung, John Elliott all went big on this trend. Sit back and take a note, to sport the look for yourselves! Other Trends Include Tie & dye/acid washed pieces; Oversize welted Pockets, typographic prints/embellishments and fringes!
