Trends 2021 spotted during the “The Wedding Day”, by Fall Fashion Week Bangalore, an initiative by PSY Fashion and A7 Entertainment, held at the Grand Sheraton, Bangalore. After a year of minimalist wedding in the past year, the brides went in full Maximalist look during the show by creating new trends for the year, ranging from heavy embellished works to bold colours for the happy go bride. Few of the trends seen were exaggerated sleeves, Light weight embroidery, ombre tones, long sleeves etc. Exaggerated Sleeves   Exaggerated sleeve was seen during the show, giving the Designer’s an opportunity to experiment. This gives a luxurious feel without adding any extra embellishments. This trend is predicted to be seen throughout the year. The collection of Designers Asif Merchant and Designer Jagdish majorly showcased this. Light Weight Embroidery  Light Weight Embroidery, for the Brides who prefer comfort and simplicity. The minimal embroidery was mainly seen on fabrics like Georgette and Chiffons by keeping them light and breezy. The collections were presented by Designers Govind Kuma Singh and Shloka Sudhakar. Long Sleeves Long Sleeves an age old tradition, is now seen again and predicted for the year 2021. The long sleeve adds elegance to the look and also gives a formal look. The sleeves either had embellishments or plain according to the look. This collection was presented by Designer Govind Kumar Singh. FLORAL PRINTS The Floral Prints, an everasting trend which suits both men and women and can be worn for any occasion. The floral prints brings a fresh and happy emotion of a person and gives onself confidence. This print can be worn for any occasion during the wedding from mehandi, haldi to the main wedding day. The florals were showcased delicately by the Designers by emphasising the prints and with a plain co-ord. ASYMMETRICAL NECKLINES Asymmetrical Necklines, changes the entire look with giving emphasis on the neck. As the neckline empowers the entire ensemble, the rest of the garment is kept subtle. The designers have implemented different necklines like one shoulder, mandarin collars, scallop neckline etc. The trend is forecasted to be seen throughout the year. Trends  showcased is forecasted in the coming days and these trends are to be seen everywhere by the brides and the bridesmaids for a grand wedding, after a year of minimalist weddings. FALL FASHION WEEK BANGALORE 

Fall Fashion Week Bangalore, celebrated ‘The Wedding day,’ a fashion event held at the Sheraton Grand Hotel on the 3rd of April, 2021. An initiative by A7 Entertainment and PSY Fashion, showcased the grandeur collection of Bridal wear. Renowned Designers participated in the show with their spectacular collection. The collection included sustainable fabrics, embroideries, embellishments, bold colours and of course timeless fits. The collection presented by Mr. Asif Merchant for a destination wedding with hues of blues and whites for a pool party and colours like reds, wine, greys, oxidized silver and black for cocktail party or receptions. The garments had in depth detailing and had net as prominent fabric in the collection. The showstopper garment was worn by the South Indian actress Harshika Poonacha with the complete red dress with oxidized silver jewellery. JD Institute of Fashion Technology, who was also the Educational Partner for the Fall Fashion Week, showcased their alumni students Ms. Annapurna Goswami, Ms. Bhavana Kamisetti and Mr. Jagadish K. The collection Flower child was presented by Ms. Annapurna, a resort wear line of pre- draped sarees incorporating Macramé’ and Crochet work, inspired from Rococo art. The colour palette included a combination of pastels and bright colours. Ropan a collection by Bhavana Kamisetti, an Indian Contemporary line inspired from Reiki self-healing music. The collection was done using the discarded fibers from textile spinning units and later turned them into yarns through roving technique. Rybie Luski, a P a collection by Jagdish K, a line of women’s evening wear. The discarded fish scales are in implemented in the garment. The collection was all whites with pearls and fish scales as an embellishments. Rainush by Mr. Govind Kumar Singh, celebrated the happy go bride with a colour palette of pastels and red’s. The garments were embroidered and embellished with white stones and focused on the detailing of the garment. The collection presented the showstopper dress by the famous actor Mr. Rahul Dev. He was seen wearing the brocade sherwani. The finale was presented by Shloka Sudhakar, her collection was called “The Trunk”, showcasing costumes for every occasion like sangeeth, mehandi and cocktail parties. The line was dedicated to the women who plays various roles in her life and chose the South Indian Actress Disha Madan and Sruthi Hariharan who’s also a Mother. Fall Fashion Week, was attended by renowned Designers, Stylists, Media and Celebrities. The event mainly portrayed how to celebrate the Big Day during the Pandemic and a great opportunity for the Designers to showcase their Designs. FALL FASHION WEEK BANGALORE
