Hennessy Shines In Gold Through The Night of BBB Awards
BBB Awards, known as Best Brands In Bar Awards, were one of the most happening nights of the city. Bangalore witnessed the most extravagant collective of the biggest brand at the show hosted by Brews and Spirits. Brands of alcohol like Henessey, Harpy, Greater Than, Chandon, Hapusa, and Hartel, among many more, were present right at the place. I happened to be there to present the esteemed award to the winners of BBB awards. It was an honour for me to be presenting the Gold Award to the winner, Hennessy. About Hennessy: Hennessy is a Cognac brandy that is made in the Cognac region of France and has a history that meets its maker, who was an Irish military officer, Richard Hennessy. The brand was found in 1795 and later in 1980 it was merged with Moët et Chandon. It became a part of Louis Vuitton Moët-Hennessy (LVMH). How Is It Made? Hennessy is made with Ugni Blanc grapes, which are pressed, fermented, and distilled twice using copper stills. The cognac is kept in casks from the forests of Limousin and Tronçais for at least two to 30 years and sometimes more. The Taste: It has a classic brandy taste that includes burnt wine, chocolate, floral fruit, wine oak, spice, and vanilla. The Bottling: The bottling is done according to the variations of the Cognac: Very Special (V.S.), Very Special Old Pale (V.S.O.P) and Extra Old (XO). Savour the Drink: The classic brandy Hennessy is a great drink and it can be enjoyed in cocktails and neat as well. Hennessy has always been my favourite and it never fails to satisfy and give my taste buds a run for a refreshing evening. Hennessy is definitely the best in its game and I have no wonder in saying that it always wins.
