Ranson Carvalho, Mixologist and Partner at Bar Square WSET Spirits Level 2 certified is a sight to behold when he’s behind the bar. Partner of Bar Square Academy of Bartending, Bangalore, he started his career as a DJ. Ranson has played in some on the best club in India before heading to Dubai. After professionally pursuing his dream for 10 years both national and internationally, he made the big switch to bartending in 2008, by joining Bar Square in 2008, with his brother Rohan Carvalho. He gradually moved up the ranks to be one of the partners of the organisation. Ranson has successfully completed L2 award in Spirits from wine and Spirits educational trust of London. He now specialises in beverage training at Bar Square and also to his credit has conducted various workshop on cocktails training. He has been in the jury panel for cocktail completion for Belvedere Vodka, food and hospitality cocktail competition, besides many more. With more than 50 blogs to his credit, he has managed to break in to the top 40 in bartending blog on the web. Ranson is a charismatic bartender and beverage trainer, who still continues to pursue his passion in bartending. Ranson has Bartended as a Guest Mixologist at some of the top-notch events like Lexus car India launch at JW Marriott, Grey Goose at ITC Gardenia, Bacardi at Oberoi, Bombay Sapphire at Sheraton Grand, Beef Eater Gin at Leela Palace, Absolute Vodka at Hyatt Chennai, Chivas Regal at ITC, Black label at Leela Palace, Elyx vodka at Fisherman’s Wharf and many mothers. He has held Cocktail workshops and made innovative cocktails at Ted X Consumer session, Investment bankers meet, Homelane, IT team bonding sessions, Hoegaarden beer cocktail workshops and more. Ranson has also represented many top liquor brands as an ace Mixologist across the world. He has been invited to be a bartender at events like Sunburn, IPL, Metallica, Bombay Derby,  DNA events, besides many Indian weddings. He has been on the jury panel of Food and Hospitality Mixology Competition Bangalore, Belvedere Vodka Bangalore Qualifying and Finals and others.
