The event held at the Ottera, Bangalore was a celebration of creativity and style. Designer Rahul Singh, an alumnus of NIFT, New Delhi with a post-graduation in Fashion & Textiles showcased an extravagant bridal couture collection called ‘Mughal’. The silhouettes showcased Chikankari work and wedding costumes inspired by the historical era. The colourful line up along with the quirky background music amped the tempo at Bangalore Fashion Week this season. Prior to the solo venture, Designer Rahul Singh worked with industry pioneer Rohit Bal in Delhi and Bollywood favourite AbuJani SandeepKhosla in Mumbai. Later he worked as a freelancer and designed wardrobes for the finest of the film fraternity including Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia besides many others.
