India’s First Wine in a Can

India’s First Wine in a Can

For the first time ever, wine lovers witnessed the unveiling of India’s first wine in a can – Dia Wine Sparkler in an easy and convenient can format. Sula Vineyards launched DIA – India’s 1st Wine Sparkler in a can at the recently concluded SulaFest 2020. Sula Vineyards, India’s largest and most awarded winery is taking its brand ethos of innovation, one step further with the launch of India’s 1st wine sparkler in a can format – DIA – in two gorgeous flavours of red and white wine. Dia wine in a can comes in both red and white varietals and tastes delicious. The best part is that it is completely fuss free and mess free and you can take it with you anywhere you go. Dia wine in a can has launched currently only in Maharashtra, and will soon be available across India. When Sula wanted to launch the country’s first wine in a can, Dia was the perfect choice. Made from choicest home grown red and green grapes, it makes for an easy drink. A sweet, sparkling wine style sets the stage to understand the nuances of wine. There is no need for the ‘theatre’ of see, swirl, sniff and sip yet it makes for perfect wine for all things fine! This wine sparkler changes the way the country drinks wine and makes for the perfect transitional drink from day to night in the most effortless, appeasing format of a can. No worries of mixers, corkscrews or glasses, easy to carry and crack open straight from the fridge. Pour it in a tall glass full of ice with a dash of lime or sip a chilled can straight up. A package that expresses perfection, pampering and style, Dia epitomises the good life – in a convenient way.Low in alcohol as compared to other alcoholic drinks like whisky (40% or more ABV), gin (35% or more ABV) or even traditional robust wines (15% or more ABV) both varietals – red and white – are perfect for any hour of the day! Dia is as appealing to men as it is to women, and is pairs up for every occasion be it house parties, pool parties or a day at the beach! This new drinkable wine sparkler adds to the ever-growing popularity of Dia. Light and easy to consume, most find it hard not to fall in love after the first pop. A sparkler in its true form, this is a product that is refreshing and bubbly, just like the ideal consumer. Introduced at a time where ‘on the go’ is the need of the hour to match our fast paced lives, the concept of wine in a can is blooming globally. The global alcoholic RTD market has been estimated to grow at a CAGR of 3.32% from 2019-2027* and wine sold in cans will play a major part in this. Sparkling wines round up to a 10% of the global wine sales. That’s 0.4 liters for every person in the world. Rajeev Samant, Founder & CEO, Sula Vineyards says, “At Sula, we are always on the lookout to bring new experiences to our customers. We are thrilled to bring the iconic Dia in a brand new avatar! It is India’s first wine sparkler in a can. Not just convenience, this drink promises all things light, bubbly and refreshing. Our design partners Awchant & Olsen, are equally excited about this redress and shared, “We were thrilled to design for Sula Vineyards and an iconic brand like DIA especially since it is the first wine in a can in India. DIA is a Sparkler and we’ve tried to justify the ‘bubbly character’ of the drink with a very modern and minimalistic design approach.” Besides the delicious Sula wines, tipplers and music lovers also had a wide selection of spirits and cocktails from around the world, brought to India by Sula’s import arm Sula Selections. Brands like Beluga Noble Russian Vodka, The Botanist, Cointreau, Budweiser and Asahi made sure they set the spirits high! India’s first wine in a can

Indian Vlogger turned Entrepreneur taking the world of beauty by storm

Indian Vlogger turned Entrepreneur taking the world of beauty by storm

Indian Vlogger turned Entrepreneur taking the world of beauty by storm Deepica Mutyala, an Indian of Andhra origin residing in the US is currently taking the world of beauty by storm, one multi-purpose huestick at a time. Born and raised in Texas, she was inclined towards beauty from a young age. Having worked with brands like L’Oréal and Birchbox her heart was in establishing her own brand of cosmetics. A vlogger and social media influencer, her tutorial on using a red lipstick as a colour corrector in 2015 went viral and garnered 10 million views. This laid the genesis of her digital community Live Tinted and creation of Huestick. Despite brands that have introduced inclusive beauty lines, Deepica’s brand was created for the in-between skin tones that did not find adequate representation in the market. She realised through her personal experience and interaction with her community of followers, that they could not find the right corrector to mask their dark spots, hyper pigmentation and dark circles. Through thorough research and open dialogue with the under-represented skin types and tones of women, she introduced her community and the product. The huesticks consist of hyaluronic acid, squalene, and Vitamin C + E to provide added skincare benefits. The colour correctors work as multi-purpose beauty products – corrector, lipstick, eyeshadow and blush. Her marketing strategy and sales tactics involves conversation with her community of followers through her digital platform. Instead of launching her products first, she initially built a community of women that emphasised on inclusive diverse beauty. Deepica’s purpose was to create a wide representation and more attention to a varied skin tone and people of colour that would truly amplify the representation of beauty and culture. Whilst looking for investors she came across two different perspectives. The male investors turned down as they wanted to look at proof that the product created by her was saleable. On the other hand, female investors understood the need to build a community before the product. Her initial products were created with money collected by crowd sourcing. Deepica’s company is backed by cosmetic giant Bobbi Brown and Birchbox cofounder Hayley Barna. With women beauty entrepreneurs like Rihanna, Deepica has identified the need to create products that suit a multitude of skin shades and types rather than having one solution for all. Every skin shade and type is different and it is only apt to use products that suit them. This has brought about a new revolution in the world of beauty and the availability of these products has brought a sigh of relief and much joy. Live Tinted Huesticks are available in three shades – Origin, Rise and Perk and offers shipping to US, Canada, UK, the European Union, New Zealand and Australia. #thestyle.world #livetinted #huestick #deepicamutyala #origin #rise #perk #birchbox #loreal #colorcorrector #multipurpose #bobbibrown #livetintedcommunity
