The Humanscale Event where Fashion Meets Sustainability: Concept by TheStyle.World

The lavish splendour of The Leela Palace Bangalore was a witness to the visionary Humanscale Event conceptualized by TheStyle.World. It was a feast to showcase fashion, sustainability, and heritage through innovation with futuristic collections, leaving the audience mesmerized. The students of JD Institute of Fashion Technology proudly participated and showcased their unique collections at this event.

The spotlight went to “Denim Recoded,” Niharika A S and Chandana C’s game-changing collection. It recoded streetwear, by combining elements of convertible properties with various textures from holographic billboards of CyberCity’s nightscapes. Bold and trendy users were encouraged by this kind of avant-garde and trendy fashion which combined the very best of street culture and vogue.

TISSAGE saluted sustainable textiles and traditional craftsmanship as a tribute to the handloom artisans of India. It spoke of the local weavers but simultaneously championed repurposed and upcycled materials. Educating and inspiring young people, “TISSAGE” showed how sustainable fashion can be both captivating and conscious, therefore, validating slow fashion.

This collection, “The Vintage Charm,” added a hint of timelessness as a promising young designer paid tribute to 1950s and 1960s fashion. Rich fabrics, including terry wool, silk velvet, and quilted velvet, gave this collection the old-world look but a modern twist with which followers of elegance and sophisticated aesthetic appreciation could identify themselves.

Finally, the colourful collection “Navrang” by Madhuri Jayashree Sutar, Rama Sutar, and Hemalatha was inspired by Navratri and Garba dance. This line celebrated cultural heritage with light, sustainable garments that so beautifully merged tradition with innovation.

It was more than a fashion show and huge applause for the participation of JD Institute students; it was a tribute to creativity, heritage, and sustainability, which made it stand out in Bangalore’s fashion calendar.
